Warning! This page contains answers on how to solve twelve WorldBuilder missions for World Three. Don't look unless you're stuck.



Mission 1: STONE WALL
Go to the top of the map and push the boulders over to trap the Scorpions and clear a path to the top plan. Pick up the plan, make a Frog with the green bricks and hop it over to the lower plan. Take apart a Steamshovel and build a Duck to swim to the goal -- watch out for the Watercrab.
As long as the Scorpions are corralled behind a wall of boulders, you should have no difficulty hopping the Frog over to the bonus goal.



Mission 2: RIVERMAZE
Build a Tugboat, go down to get the plan and then head for the corners to collect the energy and yellow bricks. Keep an eye on the Gators -- don't let them trap you. Take apart your Tugboat to avoid an attack -- it's better to use up a plan than to lose your energy. There are enough bricks in the center to make two more Tugboats if you lose the first one. Bring the yellow bricks back to the center and make a Duck to complete the Mission.
Use the Duck to grab the Buggy plan. Make Tugboats to collect red bricks and gather them in a pile underneath the bonus goal star. Once you have 10 bricks you can make a Buggy.



Mission 3: NAVAL SUPPORT
Use the Tugboat to collect the plan directly above you. Pick up an energy brick and take it over to brick piles on the left of the map. You have limited Tugboat plans, so be careful to avoid the Crabs. Build a Defender and begin walking him down along the shore. Disassemble any Crabs you come across and steal their energy. If you get into trouble, have the Tugboat bring a fresh energy brick from the storehouse at the top of the map. Fight your way along the coast until you can get to the Goal.
Use the Tugboat to ferry red bricks from a dismantled Crab over to the left side of the map, where the tires are. Build a Buggy here, drive it to the goal, picking up extra energy along the way.



Mission 4: TREEBOT IN THE FOREST
First move the tree out of the way and go down and get the plan located below the starting point. This plan allows you to build Robot Labs, a building that automatically recharges robots. Build one using the bricks that are sitting in a pile next to where you found the plan. Now navigate through the maze uprooting trees and building Labs whenever necessary. When you get to the end of the maze, you'll need to grab the last tree and then back up the Treebot to let the Buggy out. Then bring in the Treebot.
Use the Treebot to clear trees out of the path to the goal. The small loop on the left side of the map is a good place to plant unwanted trees. You will need to manage your energy consumption. Make Robot Labs when needed. Once the way is clear, dismantle the Treebot and the Labs and drive the Buggy to the goal.



Mission 5: STONEHENGE
Select the Dozer and push the boulder to your left. Go down one square and push the boulder to your right two times. Go up one square and push the boulder to your left. Go up one square and push the boulder to your right. Now go up one square and push the boulder to your left. Now you're free to head up to the top section of the map. Go all the way to the top of the map and push the top boulder down twice. Push the boulder to your right. Now push the boulder below you. Go one square to the right, push the boulder above you up twice and head for the goal.
First recharge your dozer at the Gas Station. Now, go down to the bottom left corner of the map and push that blue brick into the water. Now go all the way around to the square above the boulder that is blocking the plan. Push that boulder all the way down to the bottom edge of the map. Pick up the plan for the Fish and then head back to the Gas Station for a recharge. Move to the square to the right of the top blue brick. Push that brick to the left three times. Now go above it and push it down until it's right above the boulder. Now move to the right of the brick and push it into the water. Push the last brick one square to the right and then up three squares. Now push it to the left four times. Now push it down four times, until it's sitting next to the boulder. Move down one, push the boulder to your right and then push the final brick into the water. Now you can build a Fish and swim to the goal.



Mission 6: STEAM-POWERED ISLAND
Build a Steamshovel on the little island in the lower-left corner of the world. Dig up the left side of the island, and fill in the water to the right. Now you can move the island by digging up one end and filling in the other in the direction in which you would like to go. Move the island up and to the right to get plans for a Gas Station. Then go to the red and green bricks, where you can build a Gas Station on one end of your island and recharge your Steamshovel. Take the Gas Station apart again and go up to get plans for a Defender, and then go right to reach the big island and the goal.
Build a Defender using the bricks near the Mission Goal. From now on, keep your Defender close to the Steamshovel whenever possible, to protect it from Water Crabs. Each time the Defender defeats a crab, you can recharge the Defender by taking it apart and rebuilding it using the fresh energy brick which the Water Crab left behind. If a crab is coming after your Steamshovel, take the Steamshovel apart. That will protect it from attack and make more room for you to bring the Defender near the crab. If your Defender is low on energy, use the Steamshovel to build a bridge to the last plan for a Robot Lab, and then build a bridge to the blue, yellow, and green bricks to build the Robot Lab and recharge your Defender. Take the Robot Lab apart again if it gets in the way. Now, use the Steamshovel to move a larger island and the Defender down to the bonus goal. If your steam-powered island has 4 or 5 squares in it, there will be room for both the Steamshovel and the Defender. Be sure to leave space at all times for the Steamshovel to move past the Defender. On the way down to the Bonus Goal, build another Gas Station to recharge your Steamshovel, then take it apart again.



Mission 7: THREE ROOMS
Use the Dumptruck to pick up the plans at the top of the map. You've got a lot of trucking to do. First bring 25 yellow bricks and 25 blue bricks over to the green pile, and build a Robot Lab above the boulder blocking the first room.. Then truck 25 yellow bricks and an energy brick over to the blue pile, and build a Defender. Do same thing again -- now you have two Defenders. Finally drive the Dumptruck back the yellow pile, and take it apart, and build a Bulldozer. With two Defenders and the Robot Lab backing you up for recharging, you're ready to push aside the boulder with the Bulldozer, enter the first room and crush that Scorpion. As soon as one Defender has taken a couple of hits send him back to the Lab to recharge and let the other one fight for a while. Then send him back to take over for the second Defender, and so on. After that's done, bring the Bulldozer back to the yellow pile, take it apart, and build a Dumptruck to get across the rocky part and pick the Snail plans. Now change the Dumptruck back into a Bulldozer, push aside the boulder for the second room, and mop up that second Scorpion with the Defenders. Now change the Bulldozer back into a Dumptruck one last time, pick up the red bricks and energy brick needed to build the snail, and drop it into the mission goal. Build that Snail and you're done.
This time there are two Scorpions so you need to be especially careful. Keep your Defenders at the entry point to the third room and pull them back for frequent repairs. Or try rebuilding the Robot Lab right behind your Defender and recharge it during the fight. Once the Scorpions are out of the way you can safely drive your Dumptruck in for the bonus goal.



Mission 8: BLOCKADE
Use the Snail to collect all of your available plans. Build two Defenders and position them at the entrance to your harbor. Once they've dismantled one or two Watercrabs, build two Freighters. Take apart one of your Defenders. carry its bricks to the other side, and rebuild it to protect your right side harbor. Build a second Marina here, charge up both ships and then bring them back and fill them both with bricks from the yellow pile. Unload your yellow brick cargo on the far shore near the goal. Recharge your ships and then head back for one more load of yellow bricks to complete the Steamshovel.
Take apart the right side Defender and the Steamshovel and build a Dumptruck using those bricks. Use the Freighters to ferry bricks from the red and green pile on the left side to the right side harbor. Carry those bricks up to the bonus goal area using the dumptruck and build a Gas Station under the star to complete the bonus goal.



Mission 9: BACK AND FORTH
Grab the Dirtbuggy in the lower left and drive it up and to the right. Take it apart and make a Duck in the water using those bricks. Swim the Duck over to grab the plan. Build a Buggy on the island above the goal marker and grab the next plan. Go back to the Duck, move it to the left and up, take it apart and build another Dirtbuggy next to the plan. Grab that plan, go back to the buggy, take it apart and build a Snail on the Square that is diagonally next to the red bricks. The Snail should be built on the right side of the long strip of land with the four plans on it. Send the Snail down to pick up all the plans. Go back to the Dirtbuggy and take it apart. Rebuild it on the piece of land located diagonally below, then take it apart and rebuild it on the land diagonally above and to the right. Pick up the next plan, take apart the Dirtbuggy and build a Steamshovel. Use the Steamshovel to build a land bridge down to the next plan. Pick up the plan, take apart the Steamshovel and build a Tugboat. Pick up some yellow bricks, sail to the right, and drop them off next to the boulder, go back for one more load of yellow bricks and drop them off in the same spot. Then take apart the Tugboat and build a Duck. Send the Duck over to complete the mission. Whew!
Grab the new plans, go back to the Snail, take it apart and build a Forklift. Pick up the blue bricks next to the Forklift and dump them in the water near the other blue pile. Take apart the Forklift and build a Tugboat. Have the Tugboat pick up bricks from the Forklift pile, then sail as far as you can to the right. Dump your cargo on the land and take apart the Tugboat. Build a Dirtbuggy and drive it around to pick up the last three plans. Bring the duck back around to the blue pile of bricks and take it apart. Build a Tugboat and collect two loads of yellow bricks from the pile to your left and dump them on the other yellow pile. Now you can make a Bulldozer, use it to push the boulder out of the way, take it apart and make a Dirtbuggy to complete the bonus goal.



Mission 10: THE QUEST
Build a Dumptruck, grab the plan, and dump the green bricks onto the blue pile to make a Treebot. Pull up trees to open a path and send Treebot down to get the next plan. Dump the yellow bricks and an energy brick onto the blue pile and make a Defender. Clear a path for Defender and send it in to battle the Crabs. Once you've cleared out this area, rebuild the Treebot with fresh energy and then send it out to get the plan in the upper right. Bring the Treebot back, rebuild it with fresh energy and move the other two trees so you can pick up the next plan at the end of the strip of land below you. Now you can build a Gas Station and use it to charge up your Steamshovel and Dumptruck. You can take apart your Gas Station and bring it with you as you progress through the level. Now send the Defender in to take care of the Gator, then bring in a Steamshovel to build a landbridge down to the trees. Use land from the upper right so your other units will be able to get access to the bridge. Send Treebot down to remove the first tree then send down Defender to battle the Watercrabs. Have other units bring Defender fresh energy bricks. When the Watercrabs are gone have Treebot take out a few more trees and then continue making the landbridge with the Steamshovel. At this point, you can "inchworm" your Steamshovel forward to where there's more land available and then build the bridge back to the other units. Now regroup all of your units on the lower part of the map. You probably want to rebuild your Gas Station down here and you may need to ferry fresh energy bricks to some of your units. Send the Dumptruck up to get those two new plans and have Treebot remove the tree that stands in your way. Make a Bulldozer and move it to the square above the boulder. Move Defender into position behind the boulder, gather the blue, yellow, and green bricks together and build a Robot Lab behind Defender. Push the boulder out of the way and send Defender in to clear the area. Then bring in a Steamshovel to make a landbridge to the final area. Have Defender fight the Scorpions - don't let him wander to far from the Robot Lab and you should have no problem. Send a Dirtbuggy up to fetch the final plan, make a Duck and waddle to victory!
If you don't have a Dumptruck left assembled, you should have enough bricks around to re-build one. If you didn't clear out all the Scorpions and Gators to solve the Mission Goal you may have to do that now before bringing the Dumptruck in to complete the bonus.



Mission 11: SCORPION MAZE
Use a Steamshovel build a bridge to the mainland, and let a Scorpion chase you into one of the two small squares on the top right and bottom left of the map. Then dig up the corner of the square where it connects to the mainland, trapping the Scorpion. Repeat with the other Steamshovel and the other square. With only one Scorpion left, wait until it is out of the way and then rush your Buggy down to the Mission Goal.
Use the Buggy to get the plan for a Frog and assemble the energy brick and five green bricks into one place, and then build the Frog. Hop as fast as you can up to the bonus goal at the top of the map. Frogs are much faster than Scorpions, so you have a chance!



Mission 12: THE FINAL SHOWDOWN
Start by making a Dirtbuggy at the bottom of the map and getting as many plans as you can before the Crabs take you out. Once you have the Bulldozer plan, "sneak" a Dirtbuggy into one of the boulder circles, build a Bulldozer and push the boulders out to trap the crabs in the middle area and give you safe access to the river. Do the same thing on the other side. Build some Defenders and take out the Watercrabs in the river. Build a Steamshovel on each side to make bridges across the river and then build a Treebot to clear away the trees around each Robot Lab. Now you have two bases of operation from which to recharge your Defenders for the rest of the mission. If you manage your Defenders carefully, pulling them back frequently to re-charge at the Lab, you should be able to take apart all the Gators without using up too many Defender plans. Take some time now to clear out your bases and set them up the way you want them using Steamshovels and Treebots. You can also go up to get the plans in the upper corners to make more Robot Labs in different locations. When you're ready, assemble 4 or 5 Defenders, build a bridge up to the goal area, take apart the Scorpions and head for the goal.
The choice is up to you. You can carefully build a safe path up the center to the bonus goal area, using Treebots and Steamshovels to create walls that hold back the Scorpions. Or you can assemble a squad of Defenders, build additional Robot Labs, storm the Scorpions and take the bonus goal by force.
